Sign on to call on Doug Ford to develop a program to help tenants and landlords get through the COVID-19 pandemic with an 80% rent subsidy up to $2,500, please find the petition here

Allowing rent to go unpaid for months hurts both landlords and tenants, who won’t be able to afford four months of back-rent at the end of the pandemic. Join us in calling on the provincial government to provide tenants with a rent subsidy of 80 per cent of a household’s rent, up to $2,500 a month, for each of the next four months, for anyone qualifying for the federal emergency benefit.

Every senior in care, every adult living with a disability, and every home care worker is a person who matters, and they deserve better. Sign the Petition Here.

The government has done too little, far too late to protect seniors in care and adults with disabilities in group living situations. It’s beyond time for the government to step up with a plan to take direct management of homes where residents and their home care workers aren’t protected enough.
